Thank you for your Support!!

Hello friends of SC2Links!

I wanted to take some time to thank you all for your support over the past month – it’s been a happy start to the new year for us and the site feels as alive as ever!

Just before the new year we lost our main VOD importer to a new job and since then I’ve been updating the site daily as a one-man skeleton crew. To be honest, importing VODs on a daily basis has re-ignited a passion in me to make sure this site is updated as soon as possible with the best VODs from around the web, every day (I take the weekends off sometimes xD). Combining that passion with the new release of LoTV has once again brought Starcraft back into the forefront of my life.

While it’s great that I’m personally enjoying Starcraft once again, I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for you all coming to the site daily for VODs new and old.

So far in January we have crushed all monthly numbers from last year with 21,900+ sessions and over 46,000 total pageviews on the site. 25% of those sessions are new users – so deep down I welcome all of our new users and I thank all of you veterans of the site for continuing to use us as your premier SC2 VOD resource.

Some fun stats for January:

-Users from 103 different countries have used the site (Starcraft is global language!!)

-Top 5 countries that use the site are USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Sweden (AUS, France, Poland, Netherlands, and Denmark round out the top 10)

-65% of sessions are males 25-34, 1.9% of sessions are females

-Our biggest referral site is wiki.teamliquid.net (obviously a majority of you guys already use this site – if you don’t use it, it is the best, go to it now)

Artosis is THE MAN!! Seriously, if we could sponsor him we would – Dan has consistently tweeted about our site for the past few years and I know for a fact that he has single-handedly driven massive amounts of traffic to this site. I can’t thank him enough!

That’s all I’ve got for now – hope you all are enjoying the utility the site provides and as long as you keep visiting I will continue to update! I’d also like to give a quick shout out to TotalBiscuitGenna Bain, and the whole Axiom family – they paved the way for us to succeed all the way back in 2013 and I wish John the best on his road to recovery.

Hopefully I can continue to use this blog to not only keep you updated on the site’s status but incorporate some blog posts that highlight popular VODs and analyze the build orders within (that’s my goal for 2016).

Peace nerds!

-DOOM
